Industrial Medicine

Pioneer Valley Occupational Medicine is a division of Family Care Medical Center. We are contracted with hundreds of local companies to help provide the very best in occupational healthcare.  This includes manufacturing companies, trucking companies, and service agencies.  Our goal is to provide efficient, complete care for the employee and rapid feedback to the employer. 

Pioneer Valley Occupational Medicine can evaluate and treat  work related injuries, provide on-site X-Rays, lab tests, and incident driven alcohol/drug screening.  We provide simple, written work restrictions, follow-up instructions and ancillary care such as Physical Therapy.  If a referral to an outside specialist is needed, our staff will work with your employer and Workman’s Comp carrier to arrange it.

Pioneer Valley Industrial Medicine also performs DOT/ICC exams, Pre-employments physicals, Spirometry and Respirator Use Clearance, Audiometry, Lifting Assessments and Back Evaluations.  Vaccinations such as tetanus, Hepatitis B, and testing for tuberculosis required by some employers can be performed on-site.
